So why does one really have a homepage? I have nothing to sell. I have no mission to spread a message I feel the world cannot keep ignoring. I have no special expertise that I have a need to spread via the web. My life is pretty average so I don’t have a special need to share it with the world through a blog - those who care about my life will probably already have my phone number are very welcome to call me and have a chat.
That being said, I have a homepage anyway. Why? And what can be expected to show up here? Well, I did have a blog (apologize to those who expected to find it here) but I almost never posted anything. I have been dreaming of a photo-blog, but knowing myself I know it will never be updated regularly anyway. I also dreamt about doing a big Drupal-based website and becoming a Drupal-wiz. But again to what end?
So I have a homepage and there is no master plan for what is going to turn up here. I have a couple of hobbies and when I have something interesting to say about any of them I’ll probably add a page about it here. For now that has just amounted to a single video and the story of how I made it.
Among my interests that in time could spawn pages are: traveling, photography, running, hunting, programming and gear.
Will there be a blog? No, but I’ll probably update this welcome message “frequently” - so not as often as a blog but when I add something to the site.
Why is it in English and not Danish. I did keep earlier versions of this homepage in Danish, but I expect some of the material ending up here to be of a more general-interest nature. So English targets a broader audience. Some parts of the site might still be kept in Danish depending on intended audience. But we’ll see ...
Anyhow, nothing must yet. But check back once in a while and see what is happening.
Cheers,
-Kristian
Welcome to ... ehh ... hmm ...?
A big part of my life the last couple of years have been traveling - both business and pleasure - e.g. writing this I’m sitting in Shanghai. Combined with my interest in photography I have a lot of images. So why not use some of them on this page. So the images above left-to-right and top-to-bottom are from: Amsterdam, Holland (2010), Bruxelles, Belgium (2009), Stockholm, Sweden (2008) and London, UK (2010).
